Manchester Bombing

22 people were killed yesterday in Manchester, England, after a terrorist  attack occurred at an Ariana Grande concert. A suicide bomber waited for the concert to end, and when people were leaving to go to their rides, detonated the bomb. Around 60 people were injured as well, and hundreds of children that were at that concert were separated from their parents. The Holiday Inn are keeping those kids and teenagers safe until their family finds them, they also have an emergency number for anyone seeking confirmation of family or friends’  safety –  0161 856 9400.

This is ridiculously gross. I cannot believe how much traumatization and anguish and sadness and horror families are going through right now. Grande herself must be in a mix of emotions, most likely feeling like it’s her fault those people and children are injured and dead.

My best wishes go to anyone involved with the incident, and people with family and friends involved.

As a former member of the “I hate One Direction” club I’m almost ashamed to say I’m in love with Harry Styles’ song “Sign of The Times”. His voice, the instrumentals, EVERYTHING about it is perfect.

It’s about a mother that has just given birth, and is told the baby is fine, but she herself is dying.

That’s crazy sad yet in a way heart warming. I listened to the song after finding out, and it’s like a whole new story in your head.

Hush (Opinions and Plot)

A movie I watched a while ago still has me thinking, like, holy hell. Have you seen Mike Flanagan’s ‘Hush’ before? It’s about an hour and a half long movie. It’s about a girl, Maddie, who is completely deaf in both ears and lives in a pretty secluded area. She locks herself inside her house after she receives pictures of herself on her laptop, from her phone which is now missing. A man outside of her house starts terrorizing her and writing things on her windows in her own friend’s blood. It’s a really suspenseful movie I can honestly say I enjoyed. Everyone I’ve heard talk about it had nothing but good things to say. Definitely recommend.

13 Reasons Why (Opinions)

I’ve NEVER been big on watching tv, but recently I’ve been getting into a lot more. I started watching Neflix’s “13 Reasons Why” a couple of nights ago. Here’s the plot (It’s kind of hard to explain so if this makes no sense I’m sorry).

A teenage girl, Hannah Baker kills herself. She was fairly new to town and the school she was at, but grew to know lots of people. She didn’t leave a note or explanation for her parents, just left. But she did leave something for some of the people she associated with. Cassette tapes. 13 reasons for 13 people to listen to. Everyone that receives the tapes had something to do with her death

The story is mainly focused on Hannah and Clay. Although Hannah is dead, there are many flashbacks of her being shown, and one tape is played throughout every episode. Clay, is the last one to receive the tapes. He listens to them. Very, very slowly might I add.

You get to learn about what everyone did to her, she was used, bullied, harassed and more.

So far I’ve only finished episode 6. The first episode was slightly boring, for the first half of it at least, and then it kinda came together towards the end. Now I’m pretty into the show, learning new things about people I thought were innocent. There’s a lot about issues there are in today’s society for kids and teenagers, but also a lot that are super exaggerated. It’s really different, in a good way. It’s depressing and happy and exiting and a whole bunch of emotions all in one. It keeps you curious and frustrated.

If you’ve seen the show at all, did you like it . Did you get into it?

Obviously I like the show, but I’m not super hooked, I just wanna know what Clay did to be on the tapes, and of course that’s gonna be on one of the episodes more towards the end of the season. I really don’t think there’s gonna be a second season though, there’d need to be a whole new plot, a different show completely, that kinda sucks for the people obsessed, and there seems to be A LOT. The only reason I knew about the show was because of all the hype about it on social media.

Don’t Breathe (Opinions)

DON’T BREATHE WAS ONE OF THE BEST, MOST THOUGHT OUT MOVIES I HAVE EVER SEEN. If you are into horror movies and crazy messed up sh*t I totally recommend watching it. The ending is something you like, would never expect, seriously.

I won’t give much away, but if you haven’t seen the trailer, basically what it shows, is the three robbers, Rocky, Alex and Money setting up a robbery on an old blind man who recently got a huge cash settlement following the death of his daughter. The 3 break into his house, and find themselves trapped, and also find the veteran is crazy strong along with crazy in the head. The old man ends up killing Money, thinking he was the only one in the house, but soon realizes there was/is more than one person in his house when he finds more than one pair of shoes by the door. The guy goes psycho trying to find the other 2 around the house, and when he does it turns for the absolute worst. I first watched it around 5 or 6 months ago and I’m still shook.  THAT’S ALL I’M GONNA SAY.

Coming Out This Year

I’m sooooooo excited for the ‘All Eyez on Me’ movie based on Tupac’s story coming out sometime 2k17, because I mean….. Tupac.

Based off of Stephen King’s Novel, ‘It’  comes out September 8, hopefully topping the 1990 version most know and love. So far all I know is that new Pennywise is lookin’ pretty bomb.

Music

Halsey recently announced her finalizing and releasing her album ‘Hopeless Fountain Kingdom’ for June 2017. Snoop Dogg’s ‘Never Left’ planned for release May 2017. Eminem is bound to release more music, or at least features coming out this year, I’ve been dying for another album for over 3 years now.

 

Television

👏MORE👏EPISODES👏OF👏RIVERDALE👏

I started watching CW’s Riverdale around the time after the 6th episode had just come out. I’d heard a little hype about it and the thought of the famous Archie Comics characters gone dark? Of course I was in. And now I’m hooked.

I’m also super excited for the upcoming 6 episodes of season 2 of NBC’s Shades of Blue.

That’s about all that comes to mind right at this minute,  but there is definitely more to come.  Is there anything upcoming you’re excited  for?
